Just wanted to leave this poem I wrote with you all as an encouragement to face each day..with a better perspective…Poetry/Words are my therapy;0

Dawning of a new Day

While the day unfolds and future challenges awakens..
Still I rise

I rise to the dawning of a new day, even when a part of me wants to dig a hole and and stay there.

Stay where Im hidden ,unchallenged ,comfortable ,where my integrity will not be tested or my decisions would not be provoked by the opinions and retort of others ..

As misery and unfulfillment, uncertainty and anxiety towards future events havoc over me..

Still I rise..

I rise because its a new day which brings forth new opportunities that I can take to change the path I walk towards my destiny-

I refuse to wallow in self pity…..Instead I rise because he that begin a work in me shall continue until the coming of Christ Jesus

Jude 1:24-25

 

24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
